Santatra partnership with the people of Madagascar eV
Information and sales booth of the association
The association works closely with the association of the same name for smallholders on the east coast of Madagascar. Therefore, there is information about coffee and rice cultivation here. Young people who want to live and work on the project for a year have the opportunity to exchange ideas.
Waffles, coffee, apple juice, apple juice iced tea and something hearty are also on offer.
For a solidarity donation, you can buy rice and red lentils, as well as small handicrafts from Madagascar and homemade jellies and biscuits. Cookbooks and plants are also offered.
The money will be used to finance seeds and plants for around 120 farming families in the Farafangana area.
The association collects bottle caps which are then sold to a scrap dealer. If you have bottle caps or would like to collect for Santatra in the future, please contact the booth directly.
Erik Stenzel Earth Charter Climate Concert
As part of the festival - 10 years of the Earth Charter City of Warburg
After shopping at the market stalls and in retail outlets, the CLIMATE CONCERT takes place on the cultural stage of the after-work market as a highlight of the Earth Charter Festival:
The ever popular Erik Stenzel comes to Warburg with his guitar! We are really looking forward to his music!
With his debut album "Augen auf", the Nuremberg songwriter and geographer would like to create a greater awareness of the world in which we live and of the world in which we want to live one day. Keep your eyes peeled for climate change, consumer behavior and the political shift to the right. As a concerned inhabitant of this earth, he tries to make his environment a bit better, not in the office with Excel and Outlook, but with guitar, pen and paper.
If you have any questions or would like to meet the singer, please write to us at:
